Retainers

Retainers are an essential part of your treatment.

Throughout your orthodontic treatment, your Orthodontist carefully guides your teeth and their roots to a new position. However, once the treatment concludes, your teeth and roots don't immediately 'set' into their new alignment. They remain mobile and can quickly revert to their original position. Retainers play a crucial role by securely holding your teeth in their new position until they've firmly set.

Think of retainers as a lifelong commitment — retainers for life. The longer you wear them, the more effectively they ensure your teeth remain stable and your smile looks its very best.

Your Retainers Will;

  • Be included at the end of your treatment *

  • Be clear and removable: Similar to aligners, ensuring convenience.
  • Facilitate good oral hygiene: Allowing for easy maintenance of oral health.
  • Secure your teeth in place: Preventing regression to their original position.

Anti-Snoring Device

Many people live with the unfortunate nightly effects of snoring; to the detriment of both their own health, and often their partners sleep and sanity.

A custom-made, removable snore guard helps with gentle and subtle repositioning of the jaw while you sleep. In turn, that can help to open your airway, reducing or stopping snoring altogether.

Following a brief assessment, a digital scan of your teeth will allow for your device to be produced by our lab. Dr Orolloga will then show you how to fit and remove the device. Sweet dreams!
