Receiving orthodontic treatment is common for teenagers. Around a third of teenagers in the UK require treatment to fix jaw alignment issues, such as overbites and underbites. Typically, orthodontic treatment is started between the ages of 11 and 13, but for many, treatment occurs later in their teens. At Accessible Orthodontics, our private treatments include:

Metallic Braces:

Traditional braces made of stainless steel brackets and wires that gradually straighten teeth by applying constant pressure.

Ceramic Braces:

Similar to metal braces, but with clear or tooth-coloured brackets that blend in with the teeth for a more discreet appearance.

Angel Aligners:

Clear, removable aligners designed to straighten teeth discreetly and comfortably, often offering a more affordable alternative to other clear aligners.

Invisalign Aligners:

A popular brand of nearly invisible, custom-made clear aligners that gradually shift teeth into place, offering flexibility and convenience.

Why Should Your Teenager Consider Braces or Aligners?

By receiving orthodontic treatment during their teenage years, your child can take advantage of natural growth in their jaw to correct issues as their jaw takes shape. At this stage, all their baby teeth should have fallen out, and they may notice that issues relating to jaw alignment have started to occur, such as overcrowding, protruding, or crooked teeth, and malocclusions (bite issues such as under, or overbites).

2. Deposit and Instalments: Alternatively, pay with a deposit at the beginning, followed by 12 equal instalments over 12 months.

Finance Options:

3. Interest-free Finance: Arrange interest-free finance with our partner finance company (Tabeo) over 12 or 15 months. No deposit required. No interest paid.
4. Interest-bearing Finance: Arrange interest-bearing finance with our partner finance company (Tabeo) over 18, 24 or 30 months. No deposit required. Interest payable.
